The Medium (48”), Large (60”) and X-Large (68”) Hawnby Electric Fires are delivered to you at the Kerbside of the delivery address you provide on your order. The courier is The Pallet Network – TPN.
The fire will arrive on a 7.5 tonne, tail lift vehicle and will be lowered off the vehicle and onto a pallet truck. The courier will then move the fire on the pallet truck to an accessible kerbside location at the delivery address. The pallet truck will not travel over grass, gravel, rough ground or steps (or similar) and the courier will not take the fire into your premises.
With the above in mind, you should ensure that on the delivery date you have adequate assistance (we recommend at least 2 suitable people to move the item into your premises).
You will be responsible for disposing of pallets and packaging. We always recommend keeping the fire box and internal packaging in the event of a service complaint.
The delivery driver should allow time to inspect the packaging for damage. When signing for your item you are confirming that it has arrived in good condition. Please inform the driver and contact us immediately on 01723 583227 if you are unhappy with the package. Please check the product and report any damages to us within 1 week.
It is essential that you do not schedule or commence any preparatory or installation work until the fire has been delivered and checked by you.
We aim to deliver these fires within 3-4 working days of order receipt. We will contact you before despatch to confirm contact telephone number before providing this to TPN. If we cannot contact you within 1-2 days we will cancel the order. Once the item has arrived at your local TPN depot, they will contact you directly to book a suitable delivery day. Please ensure the telephone number you provide on your order is correct to prevent delays.
Once your order has been despatched with TPN, we will provide you with a tracking number for use on the TPN Website – www.tpnconnect.com/tracking
